THE STORY
Madelaine Aiden spends her last night in Desturbia with her friends, reflecting on her past and fearing what’s to come in the future after witnessing the murders of Naomi Benson and Rochelle Taylor. As Madelaine decides to help the police, she realizes that the killer might be targeting her next. Madelaine’s fear deepens when she begins to experience a dark sense of déjà vu, the feeling that she has lived through these events before and that higher forces might be at work in the town of Desturbia. Time is running out, and Madelaine must uncover the truth behind what she feels… before it’s too late.
This psychological horror 4 Part mini-series focuses on the close friendship between Madelaine Aiden and her best friend Kaleb Hollyswood as they are thrown into the middle of a whodunit mystery… unknown to them, the secrets to the mystery are buried in time.

Mysterious Disappearance: in 1999 at the age of 14, both of her parents mysteriously disappear under suspicious circumstances.
The police have long suspected Madelaine’s involvement; however, at the present time, no concrete evidence has ever been found.
Inheritance and Financial Security: Following her parents’ disappearance, Madelaine inherited their estate and finances.
Suspicion and Lies: The police remain suspicious of the circumstances surrounding Madelaine’s parents and due to her large inheritance. Madeline maintains that her parents abandoned her, which only fuels police suspicions.

Recently Madelaine had her parents declared deceased, allowing her to claim their large life insurance.
Forged Evidence: To support her new and changed story, Madelaine forged a note claiming to be from her parents, expressing their love and devotion to her.
Madelaine presents the note to the police as evidence that her parents would not willingly disappear. However, the police do not believe the note is genuine and suspect her involvement further.
As Madelaine rebuilds her life, she begins her own investigation into her parents’ mysterious disappearance. As she digs deeper into their affairs, it leaves her with more questions than answers, especially when she uncovers a connection to Amanda Knoxville.
In the end, Madelaine’s life is put in danger after she witnesses the deaths of Naomi Benson and possibly Rochelle Taylor in a mall parking lot during a late-night mall crawl. This event deepens the mystery but also puts her in front of a potential serial killer. Will Madelaine survive the Reaper, or will this be her last night in DISTURBIA?

The Story of Vexil is the backbone of Desturbia’s universe. He is a strong, kind but complexed character and is considered the anti-hero who shows his charismatic charm to the people around him.

Vexil fights for love, family and friends, though sometimes it has lead him down a dark road, it is a path too far to turn back now.
Leaving Desturbia: In 1995, at age 18, Vexil left his hometown after graduating high school. He left behind his family and friends to escape the bad memories, including the death of his adoptive mother and the terrifying feeling that something was wrong in Desturbia.
From a young age, Vexil has been able to sense things around him which has led him to believe the local legend of monsters living deep within Reapers Woods. His belief in them is another reason he vowed to never return to Desturbia.
Present Day 2008: Vexil, 31 years old, has finished traveling the world. Now a published writer, he has taken a job in New York as an investigative reporter.
His first major story pulls him back to Desturbia to investigate the mysterious murder case with the possibility of a serial killer stalking his hometown and to reconnect with his estranged family, it is the first time he has been home in 13 years.
Unknown to Vexil, his homecoming is part of a greater plan as someone he knows very well has been using him as a pawn, pulling the strings since the very beginning of his life, controlling and manipulating his destiny and the destinies of those closest to him.

Krysten Valentine is an attractive 30-year-old paralegal and law student with distinctive curly dirty blonde hair and striking blue eyes. She has a deep love for 1980s movies, music, and fashion, often seen wearing colorful and trendy outfits. Krysten’s carefree attitude makes her stand out in a crowd, though her outgoing personality differs from her actress- best friend and roommate Dana, who is more serious and conservative, despite their differences the two share a close sisterly bond.
Over the past year, Krysten has become very protective of her friend, who has been going through a difficult time. Although the reasons for Dana’s struggles remain a mystery to Krysten, she tries her best to be there for her friend.

Madelaine finally wakes up from her sleep, locked in a dark warehouse. She is shocked when she realizes it’s 2025. Sixteen years have passed, yet Madelaine hasn’t aged a day. Traumatized, she has no memory of what has happened or who she is anymore. Madelaine discovers that the world and Desturbia ended in 2009. As she tries to escape the eerie warehouse, frightening beings come to life and begin to attack her. Madelaine is saved by a familiar face. The person reveals the truth—the truth of what has happened since the world drifted to sleep.

Back in the present (2008), Madelaine meets with her hired private investigator. He informs her that her suspicions about Amanda Knoxville and her family are correct. Their apparent unity is a facade, and they may be involved in or directly responsible for her parents’ disappearance. Madelaine instructs the PI to continue the investigation and uncover any information she can use to destroy the Knoxville family.

The Return to Desturbia-
It is November (2008), and Vexil Riley returns to his hometown of Desturbia after a thirteen-year absence, during which he traveled the world as a freelance writer. Upon his return, he reconnects with his old friends, including his childhood best friend, Kaleb Hollyswood.
Vexil’s return to Desturbia is due to a new writing job in New York. His first assignment is to investigate the recent murders of Naomi Benson and Rochelle Taylor. As he walks through the familiar streets of Desturbia, Vexil can’t shake an eerie feeling—sensing that something evil is lurking in the air.
Vexil’s feelings bring back memories of the stories he was told as a child about the haunting beings living in Reapers Woods, the town’s infamous legend of monsters. These stories were one of the reasons Vexil left Desturbia in the first place, and he’s not thrilled that he has returned. Vexil tells his friends what he believes: that a much larger evil is at work in Desturbia. “A storm is coming,” he warns, “and this town is right in the middle of it.”

CHAPTER ONE: What Lies Ahead- In Desturbia, the past will never sleep… and neither will the Reaper. With the killer on the loose and time running out, Madelaine must confront her own past before she becomes the next victim. Will Madelaine see the truth before she disappears into the night.. forever?
CHAPTER TWO: The Beginnings of it All- Madelaine is home as someone in the dark watches, Madelaine senses she is not alone as the eerie presence walks outside her house.
CHAPTER THREE: An echo from Desturbia- Secrets are hard to keep in a small town. The four friends gather at Madelaine’s home at the end of the night. Madelaine feels the tension and suspicion in the room as the girls discuss who the killer could be, a disagreement seems to make everyone uncomfortable.
CHAPTER FOUR: The Calm Before the Nights End- Madelaine’s night has almost come to an end. She says goodbye to her friends as she locks herself in her home, feeling it may be the last time. She tries to find some peace for a moment when an unexpected phone call begins to terrorize her.
CHAPTER FIVE: Darkness, Canvas, and Clementine- In a flashback episode, Walker and Madelaine attend a dark art show by a mysterious artist named Clementine—a show that leaves an eerie mark on their psyche. Walker becomes hypnotized by a mysterious painting and decides to purchase a replica of it. As the two walk home, Madelaine senses something is very wrong with Walker.
CHAPTER SIX: The Threads That Bind Us- As Madelaine tries to accept her fate, her late-night call with best friend Kaleb Hollyswood, slowly brings back her fears of the future, déjà vu, and her regrets of who she has become. Knowing it’s too late to fix her mistakes, the feeling that the killer is coming after her tonight growing stronger. Will Madelaine’s decision to face her fears save her life or end it?
CHAPTER SEVEN: Behind the Reflection – Flashback Episode, Madelaine believes she may have witnessed the murders of Naomi Benson and Rochelle Taylor. As she recounts what she saw, the Desturbia Police do not trust that she is telling the truth. Will Madelaine’s mind be the key to solving the murders, or will the nightmare continue?
CHAPTER EIGHT: The Wayward Daughter- Officer Desmond Hollyswood looks through the evidence in the murder investigation. With Madelaine being the only witness to the crime, the officer is forced to reopen a seven-year-old mystery: the suspicious disappearance of Madelaine’s parents.
Officer Desmond rewatches scenes from a revealing 2006 true crime interview on his television. Madelaine remains a prime suspect in her parents’ disappearance, according to the police. She recounts her troubled youth, boarding school experiences, and exile. The question remains: Is she a victim or a mastermind of deception?
CHAPTER NINE: Inside the Box- Madelaine and Walker discuss the Knoxville family. As they dig deeper into Amanda Knoxville’s past, they discover a connection surrounding the Knoxville’s arrival in Desturbia and Madelaine’s parents’, the shocking truth lies hidden within a safety deposit box. Will this evidence expose the Knoxville family’s dark secrets and solve the case of Madelaine’s missing parents?
CHAPTER TEN: Through the Looking Glass- Flashback Episode, Madelaine seeks answers from a mysterious psychic. Haunted by déjà vu and terrifying visions, she discovers she may be trapped outside the past, present, and future. Madelaine must confront the possibility that she’s trapped in a nightmare and is the key to escaping her own destiny – or doomed to relive her darkest night forever.
CHAPTER ELEVEN: The Eye of the Storm- Madelaine moves slowly through her home, haunted by the noises coming from downstairs. She can sense the End is nearing. In the dark, her destiny is calling. Will Madelaine survive tonight? or will she become the next victim?
